Saturday~!

Well today is Saturday, and I do hope you all had a good day, will have a good evening and are able to enjoy the day with your family and friends!  My day started out like most days, I woke up with a slight headache, took some medicine ran my husband to work, and came home. I had all kinds of things I wanted to do. First go and cut my hair that did not happen, then walk on the treadmill, and that did happen later in the day.!  I did clean up my desk area to make easier to work, and I rearranged my knick knacks,  and shredded all the loose mail that clusters up the house LOL!  All this counted for steps and exercise on my new fitbit which I totally love!

My food today consisted of my atkins chocolate bar, and some pepperoni slices, and three crackers and tsp of  peanut butter!  OH YEAH I am working the calories and the carbs....hardly any! GO ME!

So this FITBIT is now keeping me motivated to hit my steps goals everyday, and thus alas I have not hit them as yet, but I am determined to hit them!  So last night for the first time in along time, took stroll around the neighborhood, and doing so met some nice folks who offered me words of encouragement on my stroll! I was able to get in over 6,000 steps which equates to about 2.4miles give or take, and put me at 44 minutes of active exercise! OH YEAH GO ME!  So today I have hit my active exercise of 347 minutes walking on the treadmill for 32 minutes at a 2 hill incline. Boy does that put the strain on your "butt" muscles, but a good way to decrease the thump thump LOL!

I have learned to engage with people and not to be afraid to bring my heaviness into the conversation. Why you ask, well they are looking at me and saying oh she is so "FAT" and yes, that I am....and this helps to break the ice.  Yes, it is hard for me to do certain things and sit at certain tables, but I do manage to adjust to these situations. AT the same time I only have myself to blame for the lack of accountability and lack of motivation! HOPEFULLY this is all on the upswing now with my new FITBIT, and the motion to move groove set!

So what has been your new found motivation and do you find it hard to continue down this path?

God Speed!
Cheryl
